Bonville Construction Company
Kenneth J. Bonville President
This note of thanks is long overdue. Our relationship started in 1998 when we met qeorge Bonville and one might say our odyssey of a life change began taking place
We had spent our lives in California, sixty years, never having given a thought to lot selection, home building, designing and other questions these procedures involved. Our realtor and George assured us we could make it through not only our concept of this new lifestyle but the completion of the start of our unthinkable life direction.
Patiently George accompanied us to numerous potential lot locations, politely telling us the “pluses and minuses”, the designs the lot would accommodate, the fairness of the lot’s asking price and the location concerning noise, traffic ( or railroad) disturbing sounds. So far we had not committed to Bonville Construction.
Back we went to the west coast to think about and develop the “new Pinehurst home”. Working with Bonville associates, a home was designed to our specifications accompanied by numerous suggestions and adaptations from the Bonville team.
We had purchased a lot in late 1998 and commuted to Pinehurst two or three times to acclimatize and adjust to an east coast way of living.
In early 1999, we decided to make the jump. It was then that George Bonville proposed a probable final cost and suggested we submit these same plans to other builders for cost comparison (we chose three Pinehurst firms to interview) The result of this was that Bonville Construction was at the lower end of the bids.
Over the next year our traveling continued while our home was being constructed. We had total faith in the process having had our interaction with George and his team in the previous year or two. We did not make any errors
During the construction period it’s “fair game” for neighbors to look into the building site. The one comment we remember being made by one of our future neighbors was not only about how structurally sound the workmanship was but also how clean the worksite was after each workday. He told us that if he were having a home built, while not in living in the area, George Bonville would be his builder .
May I, 2000 we moved in to our “dream come true house”. Over the past three years, the Bonville Construction Company has lived up to their reputation. They have responded very quickly to any questions and adjustments with suggestions and given customer satisfaction to all issues we have addressed to them.
After about eighteen months we decided to change the area around our fireplace. The first ( and only) workmen we considered to do the job were the Bonville contract builders of our house, the carpenters, painters, tilers and electricians.
Some might say that Bonville’s Constuction Company might charge a little more then most builders, but we have found that the quality of the finished product in all area exceeds any extra dollars our house might have cost.
Sincerely,
Gwen and Jerry Murray
