In the summer of 1987 we purchased our beautiful lot on the eighth fairway of Fairwoods On 7 while the course was under construction. In 1998 we came to Pinehurst to see what we could do with the property. After meeting with a number of contractors there was one that stood out from the rest; Bonville Construction Company.

During our preliminary meetings, Ken Bonville took us on an on-site inspection of nearly 20 homes they had under construction at various phases. We were very impressed with their attention to quality at every step.

Working with John McFay) we selected a ‘Southern Living) Southern Colonial design. John then assisted us in making major changes to the design to meet our requirements. This included removing many non-load bearing walls) vaulting ceilings in the great room and Carolina room, and opening the kitchen to the Carolina room.

As we were living in Hong Kong at the time, we communicated during the entire construction via courier and e-mail. We saw the house once during construction in June 1999 when the framing, external sheet walls, roof and windows were completed. For the rest we relied on e-mail photographs and frequent communications with George and Ken Bonville.

We took possession of our home in March 2000 and it was in every way completed to our expectations. In March 2001, we finally moved in. We are extremely happy with our new home. The quality of workmanship is excellent.

We would not hesitate to whole heartedly recommend Bonville Construction to anyone who wants the very best.
