In 19971 we made a decision to move permanently to Southern Pines. After making a deposit on a lot in the Mid South Club (formerly Plantation Golf Club) we stopped at Bonville Construction Company to talk about building our house. Right away George and Ken Bonville followed us to our lot to look it over, and we met with them briefly. We were impressed with their concern for our wishes and attention to detail. They provided us with an extensive questionnaire to determine what we might want in our house, and we went back to our home in Ohio.

We completed the questionnaire and returned it to the Bonville’s. Three months later we returned to Southern Pines to meet with the Bonville’s and to close on the lot. We were very fortunate to meet with the Bonville’s prior to the closing. They saved us from purchasing a lot that was too small to accommodate the house we desired. We purchased a different lot, chose the Bonville’s as our builder, and proceeded with our plans.

The time spent with their home designer, John McFay, and with the Bonville’s during the planning and building period was not only pleasant, but also very satisfactory. Only the best materials were used, no corners were cut, and we knew we were going to have a well built home. All of their promises were kept, and we do indeed have a very well built home.

The Bonville’s have maintained their relationship with us, following up immediately with our very few small problems. We have had no major problems and would not hesitate to choose them again should we ever decide to build again.
