To Whom It May Concern’

Living in Massachusetts and not being available, except by telephone meant we needed a contractor who had his act together and could deliver what we wanted without us being available. We talked to the local developer who happen to be a Massachusetts firm and several real estate companies along with several banks. Our question to them was whom would you have built your home if money were not an object. Every one without hesitation said Bonville Construction. Upon hearing this I contacted George Bonville and explained the situation, George saw no problem as long as every thing was covered and spelled out in the design phase. Working with George, Ken and John was a great experience and the recommendations were of great value. I told George our son was designing the home but did need the help of his architect (John McFay) for local and state building codes. That was another great experience, they have become friends and his fee for his help was more than reasonable.

Bonville Construction started the house in September of 1998 and the house was completed June of 1999. Aside from a couple of window grills having not arrived, the house was as we pictured it to be. Our relationship today with George, Ken and Bob Bonville along with the rest of their team is as friends (like this Old House on TV).

If you are interested in a quality home at a reasonable price, working with quality people, than Bonville Construction is your choice. It was ours and we have never regret it.

Robert (Bob) Daoust

As a member of CCNC Club and living in Southern Pines my wife and I decided that it would be more convenient to live on the grounds of the club.

Next came the dilemma of whether to buy an existing structure or to build our own house. It was soon apparent that none of the houses we looked at really fit our needs. It was then we decided to purchase a lot and began to inquire about local builders. From all our research and inquiries it became apparent that Bonville Construcion Company shared an excellent reputation in the community.

We contacted George and Ken Bonville to discuss our needs. We were duly impressed with their professionalism and their understanding of our ideas and needs. They then showed us
houses they were building in various stages of construction. They explained their system of engineered lumber,sub-flooring, roof trusses, crawl space heights, etc.-all important structural details.

We felt confident we had found an excellent company and proceeded with plans to build.
We were introduced to their architectural planner, John McFay (AIBD), whom we found to be equally professional. We liked the layout of our Southern Pines house which John visited to see how we could expand the square footage of that design. John immediately understood our desire for attention to detail work which was important to us. With very few revisions to the first plans he submitted we were able to go to full architectural renderings.
We also appreciated the convenience of Chapman Kitchens located in the Bonville offices. Jonathan Chapman was a delight to work with and his selection of cabinets, etc. met all our expections. His attention to detail is exceptional.

We signed our building contract with Bonville in Oc;tober,2001 and we took possession in
July, 2002 as scheduled. All our costs had been itemized in detail and there were no ad-ons upon completion.

After we moved in any few minor corrections that needed attention were immediately addressed. We have had such favorable comments about our house and friends are always interested to know about our builder. We are happy to share our building experience and feel confident recommending Bonville Construction Company to those considering building today.

To Whom It May Concern:

I am proud to write this letter of recommendation for Bonville Construction Company, who designed and built our home at 61 Devon Drive in Pinewild. We are extremely pleased with the quality workmanship that went into our home. Bonville Construction uses top quality craftsmen and subcontractors, and their attention to detail and insistence on the highest possible standards are evident in top quality cabinetwork, hardwood flooring, exterior brickwork, and general construction techniques.

We found Bonville Construction Company to be a pleasure to work with during both the design and building phase. As designers, they are patient, understanding of the customer’s desires, and creative. As builders, they provide the customer with a well planned construction schedule and stick to it. Our home was completed on time, in accordance with the promised specifications, and without any costly changeorders. If fact, Bonville Construction Company actually brought our home in under budget, a rarity in the construction industry. Their followup service has been outstanding, timely and complete in all respects.

The honesty, integrity and ethical standards ofBonville Construction Company are of the highest caliber. I would unhesitantingly choose them to be my builder again, and am delighted to be able to write this letter of recommendation.

For over four years now we have enjoyed the home that Bonville Construction built for us. Not a day goes by that we do not remark how beautiful and comfortable our home is. And we always think back on how fortunate we were to meet Ken and George Bonville. The Bonvilles were the third builder we interviewed, and following our first meeting, Lillan and I looked at one another and said, “We don’t need to look any further for a builder. ” In fact, two minutes into our conversation we had made that decision. Most impressive was the way that both George and Ken Bonville listened to our needs and our desires. Not once did they try to sway us away from our dream. Instead they contributed to the reality of building the home we always wanted. They were honest and straightforward in their approach. And important to us since we lived in Connecticut through much of the construction, our long distance conversations reflected the same caring they showed when we had the chance to meet face-to-face. We remember one specific day when we had a chance to visit our home in the earliest part of the construction with some of our friends from Connecticut. It was during the framing of our home and on a weekend when the Bonville workers were absent from the site and had no idea we were in the neighborhood. One of our friends remarked how clean the site was; there was not one piece of trash left among the frames, not one sign that a number of workers had been working hard other than the quality of the work. Everything had been purposely swept clean of all debris. This was an important sign to us that the Bonvilles were the ultimate professionals, constantly showing caring and concern, treating us like we were already living in our home although we were technically miles away.

The Bonvilles are what anyone would desire in a builder. Not for one moment have we thought other than we have a relationship unlike any others. They made our dream come true.

It is with great pleasure that I recommend Bonville Construction for your approved list of builders for Pinehurst National. ,

The Bonvilles completed my present residence in July of this year. I have been extremely pleased with the quality of my home. The workmanship, honesty , integrity , and work ethic involved in building my home was obvious at every stage of the construction process from the design phase even up until now, having been moved in for three months.

I have recommended Bonville Construction to several of my friends and peers. I would not hesitate to recommend them or to have them build my next home. I believe that their presence in Pinehurst National will enhance your image as well as portray the obvious quality of such a well built home.

If you have any questions, please give me a call at 692-9799.

Sincerely,
Richard R. Palmer

We are the proud owners of a Bonville Construction Company built home in whIch we have lived for more than a year. The Bonvilles assisted us with the planning and design modifications and with the construction itself. Not only do we now have a superbly
constructed home, the entire experience was actually enjoyable from beginning to end.

Schedules were met, building components were of the highest quality , the construction site was always neat so as not to upset our neighbors, construction standards were well above the existing building codes, design features (solid wood reinforcements around doors and windows, the addition of an extra water heater to service remote parts of the house, interior wall insulation, etc.}were built into the house all with the human occupants in mind, and frequent on-site meetings were encouraged by the Bonvilles to ensure that we were pleased with the project from inception to completion.

Most importantly, we were extremely pleased by the professionalism, business ethics, and genuine desire to build the best home possible within our budget that was displayed by George, Ken, and Bob Bonville as well as by John McVey.

What makes a business successful? Quality, reliability, and durability of the product you are providing are extremely important. Such a product, reasonably priced, almost sells itself. It is, however, the people in the business that determines success or failure of the business.

We bought our lot many years ago, not sure whether it would be the site of our retirement home or a real estate investment. We stopped in Pinehurst on trips to the East Coast occasionally to check the progress of development of Pinehurst. On one of these visits we met the owner of the house next to our undeveloped lot. Bonville Construction had built their home and highly recommended them as a quality builder. After confirmation from other homeowners and in comparison to other builders in the area at that time, we met with George Bonville. He arranged with owners of homes that he had built to show us those homes. We had the opportunity to obtain from these owners their opinion of the quality of their home and any problems they had experienced. All of them were very satisfied.

We committed to Bonville Construction as our builder while we were living in Leawood, Kansas. Demonstrating the consideration he provides to his customers, George found a house we could rent while our home was being built after our move here. He sent a video of the exterior and interior of the house to see if we would be satisfied with it before we made a committment. While we were developing plans for our home, George again was extremely helpful in showing us features, not only in other homes, but in his own home as well, that would fit into our needs, desires, and the limitations of our budget and the size of our lot. He was mindful that the architecture of the house would fit into the esthetics of the neighborhood. Construction was begun and finished on schedule.

Needless to say we have been very pleased with the quality of construction of our home, and indebted to George and his sons, Ken and Bob for all the help they provided to us before, during and after the building of our home. If I had to do it over again, I would have them build my home.

Sincerely,
Barton and Arlene Slemmons

Now that we are more or less settled we want to take time out to let you know how happy we are in our new home.

When our Florida house sold so quickly we came to Pinehurst to buy a house. The realtor was very patient and showed us many, many houses. None of them met our requirements.

We decided to look for a lot and have our house built. Once the decision was made we looked at several lots and were lucky to find a lovely one on the Eleven Green in Talamore. Since we lived in Pinehurst before we knew of the Boneville Construction and their solid reputation.

We contacted George Boneville during the late morning and explain that we were in Pinehurst for a very short time. George Bonneville immediately agreed to meet with us. Within a few hours we were on our way. We knew what we wanted and even though by some standards our house is small all the Bonvilles gave their best.

From start to finish building the house was a pleasure. Our friends commented on the fact that the house progressed on schedule ( something rather lU1usual in North Carolina) and that we moved in without delays. Another thing our friends remarked on was how well the house was built. Without question Bonneville Construction is the way to go for anyone thinking of building without hassle.
